Registration

Can I register for just a networking events?

No, networking events are only accessible to delegates with a full event registration.

Can I get a 1-day pass?

Unfortunately, we only offer full access passes at this time.

Do I need to purchase a ticket to attend the event?

Yes, you cannot access the event without registering.

We have an early bird sale where you can save 15% if you register before 31 January!

How do I receive my registration confirmation?

Registration confirmations are auto generated and sent to the registrant’s email address once the registration process is complete. If you do not receive your confirmation, please revisit the registration page to look up an existing registration and resend the confirmation email. You may also reach out to support@theelectricmine.com to obtain this email.

If you are choosing to pay by BACS, you will not receive a confirmation or QR code until we have received payment into our bank account.

Is there a minimum age to attend the event?

All registrants must be 18 years of age or older to attend any portion of the conference and events. This includes all off-site and after-hours events.

Do you offer day only passes?

Please note that we do not offer individual day passes. Make sure you have bought your pass and downloaded the app, have your QR handy for a smooth check in and badge printing process.

When is the registration deadlines?

You can buy your passes up until the day before the conference starts.

Remember – our Early Bird offer is available until 31 January 2026. Save up to 15%!

Conference Access & Evening Events

When will the agenda be available?

Our team is working hard to deliver insightful sessions and engaging content. The full agenda will be released at least two months before the event, though it may be subject to change. We encourage all delegates to download the event app to access the most up-to-date agenda at any time.

What is the language of the conference?

All presentations will be delivered in English, as we’re a global event welcoming delegates from around the world.

How can I apply for a media or press pass?

Yes, we offer special access passes for media, press, welcome staff and other approved personnel. Please note these may come at an additional cost. For more details, email support@theelectricmine.com with Media Pass/Access in the subject line.

Are networking events included?

Absolutely! All networking events are included for delegates. From informal meet-ups to structured sessions, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect, share ideas, and build meaningful industry relationships.

How To

How can I get a registration receipt or invoice?

Your registration receipt or invoice is included in your confirmation email. You can also download it by accessing the Attendee Hub via the link in that email.

Can’t find your confirmation email? Please contact our support team at support@theelectricmine.com for assistance.

Are there discounts for group registrations?

Unfortunately, we do not offer discounts for group registrations at this time.

I need a letter to obtain a visa. Who should I contact?

For visa support letters, please contact our team at support@theelectricmine.com and Paul Moore at paul@im-mining.com. Include your full name, registration details, and any specific requirements for your visa application in your email.

You will need to have purchased a registration pass for us to process your request. If your visa is not approved, we will refund your ticket.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Payment can also be made via bank transfer (BACS) where applicable. All transactions are secure and processed through our trusted payment system.

How can I change my registration details?

You can update your registration details by following the instructions in your confirmation email. If you are unable to attend, you can also transfer your registration to another person by updating their details in the same way.

I registered but can’t attend. How do I cancel my registration?

To cancel your registration, contact support@theelectricmine.com. Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment, minus a 20% handling fee. Please note that cancellations requested within one month of the event are not eligible for a refund.

I registered but haven’t received a confirmation.

If you haven’t received your confirmation email, first check your spam or junk folder. Please note it can take up to 24 hours for the confirmation to arrive. If you still haven’t received it, contact our support team at support@theelectricmine.com, and they will resend it.

Can I reprint my badge on-site?

Policies

What is the cancellation policy?

International Mining Events reserves the right to cancel, alter, or reschedule the Conference for any reason, including because International Mining Events determines in its sole discretion that the Conference cannot be held as planned. International Mining Events also reserves the right to close registration when tickets are sold out. For these reasons, registrants are advised against making non-refundable travel arrangements. Should you purchase non-refundable airline tickets or make non-refundable hotel reservations, you do so at your own risk.

Should International Mining Events cancel, alter, or reschedule some or all of the Conference for any reason, any fees paid or owed will not be refunded. A portion of your Conference fees (including fees for any optional events) will be converted to a credit. If applicable, this credit may be applied to The Electric Mine Conference event for the year immediately after the cancelled Conference.

For all delegates, cancellations are refundable up to one month prior to the event, with a 20% administration fee applied. All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@theelectricmine.com.

I can no longer attend the conference. Can a colleague join in my place?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague. To do this, update the ticket details via the link in your confirmation email, which will take you to the Attendee Hub.

Please note you are responsible for making this change. Only the name on the ticket can be updated; the email address may remain the same.

When will I receive my refund?

If you cancel and may be eligible for a refund, it will be processed within 30 business days and issued back to the original credit card used for purchase. Please note that some tickets may not be refundable. For full details, refer to your ticket terms and conditions.

Parking

How can I get to the venue and is parking available?

FIL is well-connected by major roads, including the A5 highway and the Vasco da Gama Bridge, making it easy to reach from across Portugal. On-site parking includes an underground car park with 830 spaces, accessible via the north entrance (Sony Square) or south entrance (Rua do Bojador), with elevators and stairs providing direct access to all four pavilions. Additional parking with 10,000+ spaces is available in the Parque das Nações area.

Food & Drink

Food and drinks service throughout the conference

Yes, complimentary food and drinks are available throughout the event, including the networking events.

Refresh yourself with coffee, refreshments and lunch at our designated stations, helping you stay energised and ready for every session.

Evening events also include alcoholic and soft drinks, along with canapés.

Meeting Rooms

Are private meeting rooms available on site?

Private meeting rooms will be available for all delegates to use as needed. To book a room, simply download the event app for quick and easy reservations. Our on-site team will be managing the rooms and will be on hand to help if you encounter any issues.

Recharge Area

Are there places to recharge and refuel at the event?

Yes! We’ll have dedicated stations where you can grab complimentary coffee and refreshments throughout the day. You’ll also find facilities to charge your devices, so you can stay energised and connected and ready for every session.

How do I access the venue’s Wi-Fi?

There will be Wi-Fi available at the event, details on how to join will be available at the registration desk upon arrival.

 

Where is the ‘lost and found’?

If you find any items or lose anything, please report to the registration desk.

Please note, we can not take any responsibility for any items lost.

Is there disabled access at the venue?

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and the on-site team will be available to assist with any accessibility needs throughout the event.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Smoking is not permitted inside the venue. Designated smoking areas outside the venue are available for those who wish to smoke.

What is the language of the conference?

Do I need to wear my badge throughout the conference?

Yes, your badge is required to access the event. For safety, our security team will be checking badges throughout the venue, so please ensure you wear it at all times.

Where and when can I pick up my badge?

When you arrive at the event, head to the registration desk. Keep your QR code ready for a quick and easy badge printing process. You can access your QR code via your confirmation email on your phone or by downloading the event app.

You can pick up your badge:

  • Monday 04 May – prior to the welcome drinks

  • Tuesday 05 May – Thursday 07 May – from the registration desk when the conference begins
