Registration

Can I reprint my badge on-site?

Yes, if you lose your badge, you will be able to reprint. Badge reprints on-site cost $50.

Do I need to wear my badge throughout the conference?

It is compulsory to wear your badge throughout the event to be allowed in. You will also need this for all on- and off-site events related to The Electric Mine 2025

I am a speaker at TEM25. What happens next?

Please note: All speakers unless otherwise instructed will need to submit a short summary/abstract of between 100-150 words ahead of receiving presentation approval (this should be sent to Event directors Dan Gleeson (daniel@im-mining.com) and Paul Moore (Paul@im-mining.com).

Once confirmed as a speaker, you will receive an email from the team that will contain directions on how to register. Once registered, your place will be confirmed.

How do I receive my registration confirmation?

Registration confirmations are auto generated and sent to the registrant’s email address once the registration process is complete. If you do not receive your confirmation, please revisit the registration page to look up an existing registration and resend the confirmation email. You may also reach out to support@theelectricmine.com to obtain this email.

If you are choosing to pay by BACS, you will not receive a confirmation or QR code until we have received payment into our bank account.

Can someone under 18 years old attend the conference or related events?

No. All registrants must be 18 years of age or older to attend any portion of the conference and events. This includes all off-site and after-hours events.


Where do I pick up my badge?

From Centro Parque Event Centre, level -2 underground.

What are the on-site TEM25 registration hours and locations?

Please make sure you have registered online prior to arriving. Pre-Registered Badge Pick Up is available during the following dates and times (registration hours and location subject to change):

What is the registration process at the venue?

For registration, ensure you have your QR code readily available for scanning at the venue during any of the three days. This code will be delivered to your email upon ticket purchase.

Do you offer day only passes?

Please note that we do not offer individual day passes. Make sure you have bought your pass and downloaded the app, have your QR handy for a smooth check in and badge printing process.

When is the registration deadlines?

You can buy your passes up until the day before the conference starts. Please note we do not offer individual day passes.

Conference Access & Evening Events

Do I have to be registered for the conference before I can book my hotel for TEM25?

No. Hotels can be booked at The Electric Mine 2025 rate before registering for the conference. We encourage booking in advance as hotel rooms fill up fast. View hotel options.

When will I be able to book a hotel for The Electric Mine 2025?

Preferential rates for a variety of hotels in Santiago are available now for all TEM25 delegates. Book now in the  TEM25 hotels page.

Can I register for only a Networking Event and not the full conference?

No. You must register for an All-Access pass for the conference, all networking events are included. Please be aware that some networking events are “invitation only” and will not be available for purchase.

The evening events: Welcome Drinks (May 12) and Networking Dinner (May 13), are only accessible with a valid conference ticket. We do not sell separate access.

Ensure your ticket (via QR code) is readily available for scanning at The Electric Mine venue to print your badge and gain access.

Can I attend for just one day?

No, we only sell an All-Access pass option which gives access to the entire conference and exhibition alongside all the networking events.

Do I need to purchase a ticket to attend the event?

Yes, you will have to acquire a ticket for the three-day conference. You can enjoy favourable savings with the early bird pricing, but availability is limited. Go to the ticket page and secure your ticket (capacity limits will apply).

How To

How can I find what networking events I am registered for?

All networking events, including pre-conference welcome drinks, can be viewed via your registration dashboard. A link to your dashboard is provided in your registration confirmation email.

How do I obtain my conference registration receipt?

To download your conference registration receipt, you must access your unique registration dashboard. A link to your dashboard is provided in your registration confirmation email.

Are there discounts for group registrations?

There are no group rate discounts available for The Electric Mine 2025.

I need a letter to obtain a visa. Whom do I contact?

If you require a visa to attend the conference, please contact Paul Moore at paul@im-mining.com for more information. You will, however, need to purchase a registration pass in order for us to process this request. If your visa doesn’t get approved, we will refund your ticket.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted.

You can pay by BACS, but your registration won’t be confirmed until we are in receipt of your payment. Then we will approve your registration and you will receive your QR code.

I would like to change details on my registration; how do I do it?

Go to your confirmation email and follow the instructions to amend your registration. If you are not able to attend, you can also change your registration details for another person’s details.

No changes will be granted if requested on or after Sunday 11th May, 2025, as by then the conference has started and we cannot reprint any badges or change any details.

I registered, but I won’t be able to attend, and I need to cancel my registration?

You can cancel your registration by contacting support@theelectricmine.com. We will refund the fees by the same method of payment, except for a 20% handling charge.

No refunds will be granted if requested on or after the cancellation deadline of April 12, 2025.

I registered but have not received a confirmation. How do I get another one?

Please revisit the registration page to look up an existing registration or make a request to support@theelectricmine.com to obtain your confirmation email.

Policies

What is the TEM25 cancellation policy?

International Mining Events reserves the right to cancel, alter, or reschedule the Conference for any reason, including because International Mining Events determines in its sole discretion that the Conference cannot be held as planned. International Mining Events also reserves the right to close registration when tickets are sold out. For these reasons, registrants are advised against making non-refundable travel arrangements. Should you purchase non-refundable airline tickets or make non-refundable hotel reservations, you do so at your own risk.

Should International Mining Events cancel, alter, or reschedule some or all of the Conference for any reason, any fees paid or owed will not be refunded. A portion of your Conference fees (including fees for any optional events) will be converted to a credit. If applicable, this credit may be applied to The Electric Mine Conference event for the year immediately after the cancelled Conference.

I can no longer attend the conference. Can a colleague join in my place?

Substitutions can be made at any time before 12th May, 2025. You can do this via your registration confirmation email.

When will I receive my refund?

If you cancel and are entitled to a refund, expect the refund within 30 business days. All refunds will be issued back to the original credit card on file. No refunds will be granted if requested after the cancellation deadline of 12th April, 2025.

What is the cancellation policy for delegate pass registrations?

Refunds, cancellations and substitutions on or before Sunday, April 12th, 2025 are refundable, less a 20% admin fee. All refunds and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@theelectricmine.com.

On and or after Monday, 12th May, 2025: all registrations cannot be exchanged.

There will be 12 meeting rooms accessible to book via a link to registered delegates only.  You will be able to book these rooms through a browser-based version of our new app, link to be shared here soon.

There will be mobile phone charging facilities on site, you will be able to download an app, register, and take a battery pack to charge your phone whilst you enjoy the event.  The charge pack needs to be returned before your complementary time runs out to avoid extra charges.  If you want to use it for more time, you can purchase access through the service provider’s app.

How do I access the venue’s Wi-Fi?

There will be Wi-Fi available at the event, details on how to join will be available at the registration desk upon arrival.

 

Where is the ‘lost and found’?

We accept no responsibility for any items lost. However, if you find any items or lose anything, please report to the information desk.

Is there disabled access at the venue?

There is step-free access to the venue from the underground car park to the event centre. There are lifts and automatic escalators to access all levels of the venue.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

This is an underground enclosed facility. If you need to smoke, you can take the lift to the ground floor and smoke outdoors.

What is the language used for the conference?

The official language in Chile is Spanish, however the predominant language for the conference will be in English.

There will be simultaneous translation booths in both plenary sessions translating into Spanish.
